Mayor's Public Policy Fellowship Program

2024 Mayor's Office Public Policy Fellowship

The City of Seattle proudly announces the 2024 Mayor's Fellows Community Engagement Program. This program will feature a cohort of 5 graduate student Fellows who are pursuing master's or doctorate degrees focusing on public policy or a related field. During this fellowship, this cohort will network and meet with City leaders and key policymakers to support their public service careers. This Fellows cohort will work to improve community engagement coordination and best practices across the City’s three public safety departments and with key partners. This work will seek to break down silos and build connections across departments to ensure the City is effectively communicating critical public safety information to people who live, work, or visit Seattle.

This project will advance Mayor Harrell’s commitment to a One Seattle approach to public safety, where our communities understand what help is available, how to get the help they need, and all the resources the City has to support people in crisis.

The application period for the 2024 Mayor's Public Police Fellowship program is currently closed. Please click below for a list of our active paid internship opportunities.
