Updated: April 14, 2022

Thank you, Seattle! This project is complete.

Spring 2022

Physical completion of this project was reached on March 31, 2022.

Fall 2021

Thank you to everyone who participated in the public process for the Lakewood Playground. The play area is open and the renovation project is substantially complete. Areas around the new benches are fenced off until the turf has established. The play area renovation improves access from multiple directions, provides new wood chip surfacing throughout the play area, and added several benches on the west side of the pathway to provide viewing to both the play area and the playfield. The new play equipment meets current safety and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The castle motif community tiled wall at the park remains.
