Tour Your Utilities Bill

1. Account Number.
Your account number is a unique combination of numbers designating utility, customer and service address.
0 - 100000000* - 1000000(utility #)
(customer # - as many as 9 digits)
(service # - as many as 7 digits)


* Single-family residences will likely have the same customer number for both Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle City Light
.

2. Account Name.
If you are both a Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle City Light customer, your bill may reflect our effort to make the name consistent for both utilities.


3. How to Contact Us.

4. Amount Due.
You can quickly find how much is owed and when it is due.


5. Messages.
Look for messages about your current billing statement or utility activities that may affect you.


6. Expanded Usage Graph.
You will have up to 13 months of consumption history. History will be shown in CCF (CCf = 100 cubic feet) and in gallons (1 CCF = 748 gal).





7 Return Mail Address and Zip Code.

8. Detailed Billing Information.
There is a separate detailed billing for Water, Sewer and Solid Waste Services. This includes:


  • • Meter information including meter numbers and previous/current readings.

  • • Seasonal rate classifications: winter residential inside city is the rate charged for water consumption per month.

10 Other Charges.
Charges such as extra garbage, utility meter reading or late fees.
