Queen Anne Ave N & W McGraw St Construction Alert

4/17/2009 Construction is starting on pedestrian improvements at Queen Anne Avenue North and West McGraw Street. Construction should take approximately 3 weeks depending on weather.

In order to build a stamped concrete crosswalk, West McGraw Street will be closed to through traffic over two weekends.

On Saturday April 25, the westside of the intersection will be constructed. Turns from Queen Anne Ave N to westbound West McGraw Street will not be allowed. On Sunday April 26 turns will also not be allowed as the concrete cures.

On Saturday May 2, the eastside of the intersection will be constructed. Turns from Queen Anne Ave N to eastbound West McGraw Street will not be allowed. On Sunday May 3 turns will also not be allowed as the concrete cures.

King County Metro Transit will run diesel buses and bus stops may be temporarily relocated.
