Member Self-Service Portal

The Member Self-Service (MSS) portal replaces Retiree Self-Service and Employee Self-Service as a way for members to securely access retirement/pension information. Choosing to use the MSS Portal is your decision and completely optional.  The portal does not replace the current ways of communicating with SCERS. With MSS, active and retired members can:

  • View your account information at any time.
  • View your SCERS contributions or pension benefit.
  • Ensure your information is correct and up to date.
  • Active members can create a benefit estimate using a simplified calculator tool.  Please note that the member-created benefit estimate is not an official SCERS estimate and SCERS is not bound by the results.
  • Send a secure message to SCERS staff.

The City of Seattle Employees' Retirement Office has two major functions: administration of retirement benefits and management of the assets of the Retirement Fund. Employee and employer contributions as well as investment earnings provide funding for the System.

The Mission of SCERS is to fulfill the promise made to our members by delivering the retirement benefits they have earned.
