About

As of May 2022, this park has a new name, Pathways Park. Learn about it here

Burke-Gilman Playground is a wonderful neighborhood park located along Sand Point Way and is connected to the Burke-Gilman Trail. This park features jogging trails, a playground with slides, monkey bars, swings, a whirl, baby swings, and climbing features. It features Sundial and Duck Windvane artworks by Robert Shinbow. Equipped with bathroom facilities, benches, grills, and lawn areas to stretch out on a warm day, this is a great place to stop and rest or throw a picnic while on a longer trail journey. There are multiple bike parking racks for those who come via the adjacent Burke-Gilman Trail and a small parking lot for cars.

Current Project

Visit Burke-Gilman Playground Park Renovation for information on improvements to the playground and how to participate in the community input process.
