Special Announcement

In July 2008, the Board of Park Commissioners adjusted the time allowed for verbal testimony heard at its public meetings from a maximum of three minutes to the new maximum of two minutes. Please note this change when preparing to testify to the Board. Thank you.

ABOUT THE BOARD

The Seattle Board of Park Commissioners is a volunteer advisory board established by ordinance.  The Board consults with and makes recommendations to City Council, the Mayor, and the Superintendent regarding the Parks and Recreation Department's policies for the planning, development and use of the City's park and recreation facilities.

PUBLIC MEETINGS

The Board of Park Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board will take place Thursday, September 11th at 7 p.m. in the Park Board Room in the Parks administration building in Denny Park at 100 Dexter Ave N.
