West Seattle Bridge Lane Closures on Saturday night

(SEATTLE)--SDOT maintenance crews will perform inspections on the high-level West Seattle Bridge starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 22 and finishing by 9 a.m. on Sunday, November 23.

Crews will start work in the westbound lanes and will finish in the eastbound lanes. At least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

Crews will inspect the overhead “sign bridge” on the West Seattle Bridge. This work is part of SDOT’s ongoing bridge inspection program to maintain safety.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
