Fourth Avenue Partial Closures on Saturday Morning

Fourth Avenue in downtown Seattle will have partial closures in two locations on Saturday, October 17, from 5 a.m. until noon, for the operation of cranes:

**Fourth Avenue from Union to University streets will have one northbound lane open, and the western sidewalk will remain open.

**Fourth Avenue from Wall to Battery streets will have one northbound lane open, and the eastern sidewalk will be open.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $12 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
