Community Supported Agriculture

The Seattle P-Patch Market Gardens at NewHolly and High Point have a CSA program. For 20 weeks from June to mid-October, the farmers handpick fresh, organic, seasonal produce. Subscribers pick up a bag(s) of 8 to 15 different items at one of the two gardens or at one of our off-site locations in Central and North Seattle. Download a subscription application in the right sidebar.

Extra Benefits of Subscribing to Seattle Market Gardens CSA Program

  • You help to guarantee an income for local gardeners.
  • You get to see where and how your fresh, organic produce is grown.
  • You get the opportunity to meet and develop a relationship with the farmer and learn from one another.

Weather determines when planting occurs and how fast each crop grows. Therefore, we may begin deliveries to you a week (or two) late and make up the deliveries at the end of the season. As a member of a community supported agriculture (CSA) program, we know you share the risk as well as the bounty with us. Subscriptions can all be pro-rated at any point in the season or for less than 20 weeks.

Our Gardeners

Seattle P-Patch Market Gardens are cultivated by excellent gardeners who grow high-quality produce using only organic compost, organic fertilizer and water. Most are immigrants, primarily from Southeast Asia and East Africa. Besides supplemental income, the gardens provide food for gardeners' families and friends, a sense of community, and promote healing for those who have experienced stress in their countries. You can meet the gardeners at the gardens during the pick-up times listed above. If you wish to arrange an alternate time, contact Bunly Yun, P-Patch garden coordinator, at (206) 240-2093.
