Neighborhood Plan Implementation

Search the Plans

Seattle's 38 neighborhood plans are grouped into six sectors to help facilitate their implementation. On this map of Seattle, you can double-click on any sector to see the boundaries of the planning areas within that sector.

Below each sector map, you can select any plan, or all plans, to view the plan recommendations. Plan recommendations are numbered (the various communities chose various numbering systems) and arranged in a matrix. Along with each plan recommendation, the matrix tells you what actions have been undertaken to implement the recommendation, who is taking the lead on each action, when it's expected to be completed, and its status ("completed," "in progress," "not started," or, if the project was discontinued without being completed, "closed").

"SORT RESULTS BY": You can sort plan recommendations by neighborhood, project matrix number, or project status.

"PROJECT LEAD": You can further sort your search results by specifying a project lead such as Mayor's Office, City Light, Office of Housing, etc. Although it's not possible to sort by subject, sorting by project lead will often function as much the same thing: for example, for transportation-related projects (Seattle Department of Transportation), art projects (Seattle Arts Commission and Community - Arts Organizations), parks and open-space projects (Department of Parks and Recreation), and so on.

Select a sector from the map!
