Seattle Utilities Electronic Billing and Payments
As part of its mission to provide the best customer service of any electric utility in the country, Seattle City Light offers customers several convenient options for paying bills without using the mail. Customers can pay individual bills online, sign up for our Automatic Bill Payment Program or visit us at one of our neighborhood service centers. And now City Light customers can sign up to receive their bills electronically.

This new e-bill service is a great way to save time, avoid the cost of postage and reduce your use of paper. By enrolling in this service you can view your utility bill and schedule one-time or recurring payments online. It's fast, easy and convenient. Sign up today!

To use online payment services you will need:

  • A VISA or Mastercard credit /debit card or an E-check.
  • The account number from your City Light bill.
  • The mailing address ZIP code from your bill.

Payment facts

  • There are no transaction service fees with this application.
  • Payments are posted on normal business days. This excludes weekends and City of Seattle holidays.
  • Payments made after 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time on business days will be posted to the utility account within three business days.
