Consultant Services
Assist the City’s Elected Officials and City Light in Defining the
Appropriate Role, Structure, Policies, and Procedures for the Seattle
City Light Department’s Power Marketing and Risk Management Functions
Request For Proposal Issue Date: December 12, 2002
Proposal Submission Deadline: 12:00 P.M. PST, December 31, 2002
The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by
the Superintendent of City Light, or designee, through July 30th 2003.
City Light has identified a budget not to exceed One Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($100,000).
City Light, may at its option, amend the original contract for scope,
time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by
the Seattle City Council.

NOTE: City Light has scheduled a Pre-Proposal Conference to provide
prospective consultants with information relating to the Project.
Questions and answers will be documented and provided to firms who have
requested this RFP. The Pre-Proposal Conference will be held in the
Board Room (Room 3253), Key Tower Building, 700 5th Avenue, Seattle,
WA 98104, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16th, 2002
The contract that is awarded as a result of this RFP will be awarded
in a manner that will comply with all applicable laws of the United
States, State of Washington, the City Charter, and Ordinances of
the City of Seattle.
