Cool Rebates

Seattle City Light has teamed up with other Puget Sound Utilities to offer rebates on commercial solid-door refrigerators and freezers. Whether your business is in Tacoma, Seattle, Bellingham, or somewhere in between, you can take advantage of this special offer.

It costs a lot to keep your products cold. Over its lifetime, your commercial refrigerator or freezer probably costs you more in electricity than you paid to purchase it. But there is a solution. Today’s super-efficient models use a lot less energy, saving you money for as long as you own the equipment. They often don’t cost more, and now utility rebates make them even more affordable! So don’t let refrigeration costs put the freeze on your profits – upgrade now and start saving today!

$ave Now and $ave Later!
Save $$ now on your purchase price – then save $$ each month on your utility bill! Rebates range from $30 to $200 per unit! SuperSaver models qualify for the highest rebate because they save twice as much as the ENERGY STAR® program requires. Consider purchasing a SuperSaver to maximize your savings!

Save up to $200!

How Much Will I Save Each Year on my Utility Bill?
Savings range from 25%-55% depending on the size and type of equipment. Savings compared to your old existing units are probably even higher!

Which Models Qualify?
Qualifying units are ENERGY STAR; rated, or meet the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tier 2 standards. Those that meet CEE Tier 2 standards are called "SuperSavers". CEE is a national non-profit organization that promotes energy-efficient products and services.

Qualifying models can be found on the ENERGY STAR or CEE Web sites, or call your local utility for further information.
