highlight good programs wherever they are. If you have a disaster related event
and want us to post it, send us the time, location, who it is intended for and

structural improvements. Learn how to use correct tools, materials and methods
to accomplish an earthquake retrofit. A complete set of permit forms, drawings
and instructions.

on safe, effective simple search and rescue methods. Learn basic rescuer
safety, five stages of rescue, search methods and markings, firstaid triage,
basic construction practices, utility safety and control, safe lifting of heavy
objects. Bring hard hat, leather gloves, flashlight. Wear comfortable clothing
and sturdy shoes to practice on the floor. Cost: $25

Personal and Family Preparedness Web-based Training
This web-training will give the viewer information about how to be safe in an earthquake, what goes in a disaster supply kit, how to create a family disaster plan, and more. Click on the link and follow the instructions to take the program.
