Following the designation of South Lake Union as an Urban Center in 2004, a two year community process resulted in City Council's recognition of the South Lake Union neighborhood plan. A part of this plan calls for studying increased development capacity, the Urban Form Study. Development of the Urban Form alternatives was informed through a broad-based community participation process that was co-sponsored by the South Lake Union Friends and Neighbors Community Council and included the participation of a broad cross-section of community stakeholders. To learn about the alternatives that the City is proposing to study, how they will be studied, offer your comments, and hear about future opportunities to participate in this effort visit: www.seattle.gov/dpd/planning/slu.
