In May 2014 we published the Draft 2015 City of Seattle Stormwater Manual, Volumes 1 through 5, and the appendices. They are available for your review on the Project Documents page. We are revising our existing stormwater code (SMC 22.800-22.808) and the associated Directors’ Rules based on the feedback we received from you during our informal comment period that ended August 15, 2014. Our new rules will replace the current stormwater code and Directors' Rules, which are administered jointly by DPD and Seattle Public Utilities (SPU).

Other opportunities to provide public comment will be:

  • During the SEPA review process (anticipated for fall 2014)
  • During the legislative process and formal public review period (anticipated for winter 2015)
  • At the City Council public hearing that will be part of their deliberation (anticipated for 2015)
