Get Involved

You have choices for how you can get involved and receive updates for the Ballard Urban Design project.

Option 1 — Submit a comment directly.

You may prefer to submit a comment to us without joining in a sustained conversation online. To do that, please contact Aditi or David by phone or email. Their contact information is under the “Connect” section on the right side of this page.

Option 2 — Subscribe to our mailing list.

Sign up to receive updates when new information is posted about this project. Submit your email address in the box in the upper right (or below if you are on a mobile device).

Option 3 — Attend a meeting.

We will be holding a series of community meetings to share information and get your input. You can also attend our monthly advisory group meetings. Each advisory meeting has a brief public comment period at the end. We'll post our meetings on this site's calendar and send notifications to everyone who signed up for updates (see Option 3 above).

Option 4 — Read our meeting notes.

Stay informed through meeting notes from our advisory group and community meetings. We'll post those notes on our Project Document page after each meeting.

Community Partnerships

Ballard Partnership for Smart Growth's Urban Design and Transportation (UDaT) Committee is working with us as an advisory committee for the Ballard Urban Design Framework. They provide consistent review and advice on the direction of this project and its products. The advisory committee meets on the first Thursday of each month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Ballard Landmark multi-purpose room (5433 Leary Avenue NW). You may attend the meetings as an observer and there is a comment period at the end of each meeting. Find the latest UDaT meeting notes and documents on our Project Documents page.
