The University District Urban Design Framework project will include public outreach, technical study, design work, and the consideration of regulations and guidelines that will apply to future development of private sites and public rights-of-way.

2012

  • Community outreach and public engagement
  • Commercial District Revitalization Plan, to be completed by the end of 2012
  • Begin Urban Design Framework planning

2013

  • Community outreach and public engagement
  • Finalize Urban Design Framework report
  • Environmental analysis
  • Begin detailed street and public spaces design work

2014

  • Public review of draft and final land use actions
  • Public review streetscape concept plan

2015

  • City Council public process
  • Final decisions by City Council and Mayor
