About Us

The Domestic Workers Standards Board provides a place for domestic workers, employers, private households, worker organizations, and the public to consider and suggest ways to improve the working conditions of domestic workers.

The Board makes these suggestions to the Office of Labor Standards, Mayor, and City Council.  Examples may include new laws or programs, and changes to the City's outreach and enforcement efforts. In 2020, the Board increased to 13 members.
