Culture, Civil Rights, Health & Personnel Committee -
Councilmember Nick Licata chairs this 2008/2009 committee which focuses on culture and the arts, Seattle Public Library, SCAN, nightlife, civil rights, public health, and personnel issues.
Energy & Technology Committee - Councilmember Bruce Harrell chairs this 2008/2009 committee which focuses on Seattle City Light, energy utility rates and energy sources, information technology, cable, broadband, seattle.gov, and citizen technology access.
Environment, Emergency Management & Utilities Committee -
Councilmember Richard Conlin chairs this 2008/2009 committee which focuses on water, drainage, wastewater and solid waste services, Seattle Public Utilities, Office of Sustainability and Environment; conservation programs, emergency preparedness, Office of Intergovernmental Relations, Office of Policy and Management, and rules of the City Council.
