Accounting Manager

WFW is seeking an Accounting Manager with strong analytical, bookkeeping and administrative skills to be responsible for day-to-day fiscal operations and to oversee the organization's audit and review process for all qualified motion picture productions.

Duties Include:
- Day-to-Day Operations
- Plan, coordinate and manage accounting operations including but not limited to payroll and benefits administration, accounts receivable / payable, general ledger maintenance
- Assist Executive Director with audit/budget preparation
- Maintain document procedures for annual capital campaign
- Update and maintain internal database and public project documents including the Status of Current Projects and Project Summary
- Oversee and develop reporting practices with the Department of Commerce and the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee

Completion Package Process
- Review all Completion Packages for accuracy and organization and work with client to present fully detailed information for final review prior to payment of funding assistance
- Serve as liaison between WFW and production clients throughout production and completion package process
- Manage CPA review process (when applicable) and report progress and findings to Executive Director
- Maintain all physical filing of Completion Package and Funding documentation and oversee electronic archiving process

Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with general ledger, payroll and bookkeeping principals
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial reporting structures/software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- QuickBooks, Excel and Word experience
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail
- Must work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:
- Motion picture production experience and knowledge of line item budgets and entertainment policy & procedures
- Experience in customer service and project management

Salary:
Salary: $40,000 (D.O.E.)
