The Neighborhood and Community Arts Program supports, affirms and encourages the work of Seattle's neighborhood arts councils and community stewardship groups, investing in the vibrant work being done in and by communities throughout Seattle. Funding supports recurring festivals or events that promote arts and cultural participation, build community relations and enhance the visibility of neighborhoods using arts and culture.
Neighborhood arts councils and community groups that have been in existence for at least one year may seek annual support of $1,200 for an event which has a significant arts and culture component, is open to the public and takes place in Seattle. Applications undergo peer panel review.
