Seattle cuts energy use in partnership with local company
The City of Seattle has cut the energy use of its desktop computers by 35.4 percent since its move to power management software from local vendor Verdiem.

Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft
Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in America. The convenience of computer and Internet services can be a tempting target for those who profit by gathering identity information and either selling it to others or using it themselves. There are also non-technical ways for your identity to be compromised. Ivan Orton, Deputy Prosecutor for King County, will talk about ways to reduce risks of identity theft and protect personal information.
