BY BUS

Metro: If you choose to use Metro's Trip Planner to find a bus route enter Fifth Avenue & Cherry Street or Fifth Avenue & James Street as your destination point.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Traveling South to Downtown Seattle:
Take I-5 Southbound to the James Street exit, Exit 165A, turning right on James Street.

Traveling North to Downtown Seattle:
Take I-5 Northbound to the James Street exit, Exit 164A, turning left on James Street.

Parking
There is no free public parking at Seattle Police Headquarters. The SeaPark Garage is located on 6th Avenue between Cherry and James Streets on the east side of the Justice Center. It is open until 10pm, Monday through Friday, and closed on the weekends. 

The vehicle entrances to the garage are on:

  • Cherry, mid-block between 5th and 6th Avenues
  • 6th Avenue at James Street
  • James, mid-block between 5th and 6th Avenues

Please note, you will not be able to enter directly into the Justice Center from the SeaPark Garage. You will need to enter from the main doors on fifth avenue.

Metered parking is available on streets surrounding the Seattle Justice Center. Many other public pay lots are also available within walking distance.

Passenger Dropoffs:
Fifth Avenue is one way southbound. There is no drop off point in front of the Justice Center. Cherry street is one way eastbound. On the left side of past the 5th Avenue intersection on Cherry Street there are load/unload spaces. The right side of the street is for police vehicles only.
